Chem-Dry vs. Steam Cleaning

Chem-Dry vs. Steam Cleaning

How Is Chem-Dry Different?

Many of our customers ask us why we are so different and what makes our cleaning better than the others. We want to let you in on our secret and tell you a little bit about our carbonated cleaning process. Chem-Dry's proprietary Carbonating Cleaner is applied using a low pressure spray machine, coating your carpet and upholstery fibers with millions of microscopic carbonated bubbles. The carbonation makes dirt and grime release from the fibers of your carpet and raise to the surface where it is easily extracted and swept away. We use much less water than the other Springfield carpet cleaners, so your carpets will dry in 1-2 hours instead of days.

Compare the Difference Yourself

This process differs drastically from that of steam cleaners, which simply douse your carpet in buckets of hot, soapy water, then attempt to suck it all back out. Their process temporarily cleans your carpet, but it also leaves behind a layer of sticky residue which collects dirt quicker. This is not what you want in your home, you want a cleaner that leaves your carpets cleaner and they stay cleaner longer too! This excess of moisture the other Springfield carpet cleaners leave behind causes the carpets to take longer to dry and allows for mold and bacteria to grow. Eeew, now you wouldn't want that! Call Chem-Dry of Springfield for a natural, green clean! Overall, Chem-Dry offers a healthier, more thorough carpet cleaning experience.
